Revenue & Payouts
Gymlium offers one of the most developer-friendly revenue splits in the marketplace space. You keep the vast majority of every sale.
Revenue split
| Recipient | Share |
|---|---|
| You (developer) | 95% |
| Gymlium (platform) | 5% |
For a template priced at £50:
- You receive: £47.50
- Gymlium receives: £2.50
This applies to all pricing types — standard licenses, exclusive licenses, and attribution removal fees.
Stripe processing fees (typically 1.4% + 20p for UK cards) are deducted before the revenue split. On a £50 sale, the Stripe fee is approximately £0.90, leaving £49.10 to split 95/5.
Stripe Connect payouts
Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. When a trainer purchases your template:
- Payment is collected — Stripe processes the trainer’s payment
- Revenue is split — 95% is allocated to your Stripe Connect account, 5% to Gymlium
- Payout is scheduled — funds are queued for transfer to your bank account
Payout schedule
| Schedule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Frequency | Weekly (every Monday) |
| Minimum payout | £10 |
| Processing time | 2-7 business days after payout is initiated |
| Currency | Paid in your local currency (converted by Stripe if needed) |
If your balance is below £10 on a payout day, it rolls over to the next week.
Payout methods
Stripe Connect supports:
- Bank transfer (most countries)

Tax considerations
You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your template earnings according to your local tax laws. Gymlium does not withhold taxes. Consult a tax professional if you’re unsure about your obligations.
Stripe provides tax documents (1099 forms for US developers) where required by law. You can access these from your Stripe dashboard.
Attribution removal revenue
For free_with_attribution templates, trainers can pay to remove the attribution link. This fee generates revenue under the same 95/5 split:
- Removal fee is set by the platform
- You earn 95% of each removal fee
- These appear as separate transactions in your revenue history
